How to deal with young throwers? The americans have different events/distances and special rankings for 5-11 and 12-15 year olds. Is this possible in your country? Do we want this? Or do young throwers (with parents present of course) just participate in the normal adult ranking?

At the moment, we throw all 20 knives for one distance in one go. The americans insist on "only 3 knives in one go". Is the following a viable compromise?:

Distanzen 3,4,5,6,7m; Hinter 3m-Linie, werfe 3 Messer. Punkte zählen. Zurück hinter 4m Linie, werfen, zählen;..bis 7m-Linie. Danach ruht der Werfer aus bis zum nächsten Durchgang. Insgesamt 5 Entfernungen * 3 Messer * 4 Durchgänge = 60 Würfe gesamt. Für jede Distanz kann ein anderes Messer genutzt werden. Es gibt Gesamtwertung, und Wertung pro Distanz.[Für Äxte ähnlich]

Vorteil: Es ist für Zuschauer spannender, weil mehr passiert an der Stelle, wo man steht.

Il est permis d'utiliser des couteaux différentes pour des distances différentes. Il y aura un classement totale, est on plus un classement pour chaque distance (comme d'habitude). [C'est pareil pour haches.]

Avantage: c'est plus intéressant pour les spectateurs, parce qu'il y a des sortes de lances et distances différentes à chaque endroit et tous le temps.
